On Sundays a Motet is sung at the Offertory and occasionally during Communion at the Choral Eucharist, and an Introit and Anthem at Choral Evensong. During the week an Anthem is usually sung at Choral Evensong on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This year we marked the fiftieth anniversary of Vaughan Williams’ death with a performance of his Five Mystical Songs alongside the Communion Service in D minor, and celebrated John Rutter’s Carols in our annual Christmas Concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. A number of the anthems were performed in repeat performances on our Tour of Canada and the United States in August. (135)
